An electrically driven drain valve featuring a timer is a simple but crucial compressed air system component.Since the air contains moisture that is compressed and turned into water, it is necessary to remove the excess fluid and condensate running through the tubing and reaching low end points.
The simplest, easiest and most comfortable way to do this, is incorporating electronic timer drain valves with dual time settings, which allow for harmful condensate removal, as well as setting discharge frequency and duration.
The drain valve is supplied as a single unit comprising the discharge orifice, control timer, power cable, strainer for tubing particles filtration, and solenoid.

The drain valve operates by water discharge caused by air pressure discharged when the solenoid valve is opened.
To save as much air compressor operation energy as possible, the drain valve allows to determine discharge frequency and duration, thus reducing compressed air loss, and minimizing compressor operation.
