The role of gas generators is to receive compressed air and isolate the gas we wish to consume. Gas generators exist in several technologies; however, the most familiar and common is Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA), the most efficient and reliable of them all. This technology works according to the twin tower method, in which there are two tanks full of adsorption material. This method works in cycles; in each cycle we transmit compressed air through one of the tanks. During the cycle, the adsorption material captures most of the gases, except for the gas we want at the end of the process. The higher the purity required of the gas, the longer the cycle time. At the end of each cycle, the purified gas passes on to an external tank, and a small part of it is used to purify the other tank before entry of compressed air. The rest of the gases are released to the atmosphere.
EL-AV Compressors, in full cooperation with its subsidiary, Generators ltd. , lead a revolution in the area of gas generators (nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, and more) in Israel. Our company’s gas generators use only the highest quality of materials with regard to controls, valves, and of course molecular carbon, which plays a key role in the gas production process.
Our companies manage dozens of projects a year in the area of gas generators, in various industries, such as the food industry, pharmaceuticals, defense, aviation, laser industries, and more. The common denominator of all these projects is significant savings in gas costs, which has a direct effect on production costs. All of the projects are managed by company engineers, from the critical characterization stage to planning and until execution and operation of the systems, performed by highly skilled professionals under the project manager’s supervision.
Projects we have carried out may be viewed on the projects page in the site.
