- Examination and characterization of the existing state – work regime and air consumption.
- Proposal for a suitable solution to provide the amount of air required, with maximum savings in energy.
- Installation of the new compressor at the existing station.
- Supply of advanced in-line filters for filtering the compressed air, while maintaining efficiency at a minimum pressure drop.
Summary:
After installation and a sample calculation, we reached the conclusion that the customer will save an average of about 2,200$ a month in electricity costs, by upgrading his old 40 HP (30 kW) vane technology compressor to a Model ELCPS50INV+ 50 HP (37 kW) inverter screw compressor with permanent magnet motor technology manufactured by EL-AV Compressors Ltd. In addition to the huge savings in electricity costs, the customer significantly improved the operational state at the station by working with a new compressor under manufacturer’s warranty, and improving the maximum flow rate of the main compressor from about 4,000 l/min to about 7,000 l/min.
